Cadbury chocolate coins are back on the shelves after a decade

When it comes to desserts, it’s never too early to start thinking Christmas.

Cadbury bosses obviously agree, as they’ve just dropped some huge news about their festive chocolate range.

Cadbury has announced that it will be returning its milk chocolate coins after a decade of unavailability. The popular product was discontinued in 2014, much to the disappointment of chocolatiers, who lamented the loss of their favorite chocolate filling.

Nine years later, the classic Dairy Milk chocolate-covered gold foil coins are back!

Katie Hill, Cadbury’s New Brand Director, says of the launch: “If you think back to 2014, you may remember that Cadbury caused disappointment across the country as we announced the sad demise of our favorite chocolate coins.

“We have listened to customer feedback and are thrilled to be able to finally announce that we will be bringing back this beloved holiday treasure this year—a product that is both festive joy and delicious nostalgia for many.”

The coins will come in a 70 gram bag for £1.99 and a 230 gram coin bag for £6.99 in stores and supermarkets across the country.

That’s not all. Cadbury also announced that it will continue its four-year partnership with Cadbury Correspondence Trust Christmas this year. The legendary chocolate brand plans to donate 100,000 candies to food banks within its Trussell Trust network, which they say will help make Christmas special for everyone, whatever their circumstances.
